REHABILITATION
My job doesn't end in the treatment room, I will send you away with a program of rehabilitation after each session.
ABOUT ME
I have always been interested in sports and how the body moves, but it was recovery from injury that led me to a career in Sports & Remedial Massage. I trained at the London School of Sports & Remedial Massage (LSSM) at Regents College, widely regarded as the leader in it's field. I graduated with a Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy. I am fully insured and a member of the Institute of Sports & Remedial Massage (ISRM).

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THE FIRST SESSION?
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
IS SPORTS MASSAGE PAINFUL?
In your first session (or beforehand), we will discuss injury history and any relevant medical conditions. I will then perform a full postural assessment (10 mins), to ascertain the best treatment for you before treating the affected muscles.
Many soft tissue techniques can be done in a shorts and t-shirt or sports top. Only the area being treated needs to be exposed. For treatments to the shoulders and back a normal bra which unfastens at the back is easier than a sports bra.
Sports massage shouldn't be painful. Sometimes when working deeply with a tight muscle, it can feel uncomfortable. By using a range of techniques to release tight muscles, we will find a way to work that doesn't cause pain. Ultimately, you're in control, you say at any point if you want to stop the treatment.
