Sports & Clinical Massage

Sports and clinical massage, sometimes referred to as soft tissue therapy, incorporates a wide range of techniques to treat a variety of musculoskeletal pain.

The session will generally begin with a postural assessment to ascertain any postural imbalances, which may be causing pain. We then use a range of techniques to target specific muscles and trigger points to relieve pain and rebalance the body, including myofascial release, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques and other neuromuscular methods to alleviate tight muscles and relieve pain.

Although it is often referred to as sports massage, soft tissue therapy like this is not just for sports people, but anyone with musculoskeletal pain.
